The next edition - March 2025

The preparaton for the upcoming, 7th international edition of the competition have already started. The competition is planned to be held in a stationary mode - participants will perform in the Concert Hall of the W. Kilar Music School Complex in Rzeszów

9th INTERNATIONAL POLISH PIANO MUSIC COMPETITION – FESTIVAL DEDICATED TO FRYDERYK CHOPIN
which will take place from 21-24 March 2024 in Vilnius.

 

 Due to the pandemy the edition 2022 is held online

The competition on 10-12th March 2022 is held in the hybrid form. The performances of the participants will be avaliable at the competitionYouTube channel during the hearing by the Jury.

First international AAF Conference in Barcelona in March 2018

 

Barcelona panel10 mThe International Subcarpathian Chopin Piano Competition, as a member of the Alink-Argerich Foundation, was invited to take part in the first international AAF Conference of the piano competitions worldwide. The Conference was held in Barcelona on 19th – 20th March 2018. The conference brought together organisers of 110 competitions from 30 countries and was attended by over 170 representatives.

Our competition was represented by Grzegorz Łobodziński who took part in the panel discussion in session dedicated to competitions for children and youth. He was speaking about the promotion of laureates as well as advantages from cooperation between international competitions.

 

 

The International Subcarpatian Chopin Piano Competition recomended by the Ministry of Culture

In Octobert 2017 the International Subcarpathian Chopin Piano Competition in Rzeszów was included into the list of theInternational and All-Poland competitions of the educational system in arts recommended by the Ministry of Arts and the National Heritage of Poland. The Centre for Education in Arts in Warsaw (CENTRUM EDUKACJI ARTYSTYCZNEJ) will be co-organising the competition and, starting from the upcoming edition in 2019, the competition will be held every three years.

 

The Subcarpathian Chopin Piano Competition promoted by the Fryderyk Chopin Institute   -  "NIFC Patronage"

 CCClogo 01The International Subcarpathian Chopin Piano Competition for Young Pianists is highly appreciated and promoted by the Fryderyk Chopin Institute (NIFC) in Warsaw. Since January 2017 the competition has become a beneficiary of the ‘NIFC Patronage’ – in line with the ‘CCC Regulations Chart’ document agreed at the international Chopin Competitions’s Conference (CCC) . As a consequence our competition in Rzeszów can count on the organisational support by NIFC as well as the promotion of its laureates e.g. by prizes and possibilities of performances at concerts.

 

Chopin Competition Conference, Warsaw - Radziejowice

CCC conference     

On September 20th-22nd 2016 our International Subcarpathian Chopin Piano Competition for Young Pianists was represented at the Chopin Competition Conference organized by the Fryderyk Chopin Institute in Radziejowice, near Warsaw. It was the second conference we attended at the invitation of the Institute. The first one was held in April 2015. We shared experience in organisation of Chopin competitions together with the organisers of other such events worldwide. Representatives of competitions from China, Hungary, Australia, Egypt, South Korea, Germany, USA, Russia, Turkey, Lithuania and Poland were present at the conference. They had opportunity of both the active participation in the working sessions and listening to two concerts – one in Warsaw and the other one in the Chopin's birthplace house in Żelazowa Wola.
